Life Education was born from the vision of our founder Ted Noffs, who dedicated his life to improving the lives of young Australians – especially those most in need. As a result of his outreach work at the Wayside Crisis Centre in Kings Cross, Ted decided to create a national preventative health education program for all Australian young people. Life Education started in 1979 and we continue to commit to the achievement of Ted’s vision, so that Aussie kids can develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to face life’s biggest challenges. Putting this belief into action alongside our mascot and Australian icon, Healthy Harold, we now engage more than 700,000 children every year. With your support, we will reach even more in the future.
